| MEET THE STAFF |
Name: Maleen (or commonly known as "Leenie")HH Forum Name: Leenie Staff Position: Webmistress, Designer & Forum Administrator Location: Chicago, IL Age: 22 Birthday: 3/23/1986 Favorite FOB song: Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things to Do Today Why LEENIE loves FOB: One of the only bands where I could buy their album and not skip any tracks on it. Lyrically, they're very clever. Musically, they're geniuses. Biography: Okay, well, I'm a college student from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I, currently, reside in a small down about several miles shy of the Illinois-Indiana border. I'm an introverted science and computer geek with a softspot for music. At times, I could have a short fuse, but aside from that, I'm relatively non-controversial. I've been a designer for 9 years, haven't stopped since. It's my only creative outlet. I'm a bit anti-social, I could be a hermit at times, I'm a vegetarian, and I think pandas are the best animals alive. I'm terribly obsessed with Fall Out Boy (among other bands as well). I've been a fan since the "Evening Out With Your Girlfriend" era, even though their music didn't really get my full attention until the "Take This To Your Grave" era (which, I'm well-aware, was within the same year). On a more personal view of myself, I'm very family oriented, I'd put them in front of anybody without any hesitation, and I love my friends dearly (both online and offline).
Name: Stephanie / the Sugar High AsianHH Forum Name: in2music_FOB Staff Position: Co-Webmistress, Forum Administrator, & HH Myspace Manager Location: Roselle, New Jersey Age: 16 Birthday: November 5th, 1991 Favorite FOB song: 7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen) Why STEPHANIE loves FOB: They're musical geniuses! Duh. Biography: Hello. My name is Stephanie. I like to be known as the Sugar High Asian. Reasons being that I love candy (the sugar high part) and I'm Asian. I love anime and music... and guitars. They're facinating in their own way. I like taking pictures and computer stuff. I'm currently in my junior year of high school. I'm also currently figuring out a perfect college for me when I graduate in June 2009. I play guitar, but I'm not every good yet. I like to promote healthy eatings. Boots and coats with fur are evil (I'm serious!). Abuse is a definite NO. Cookies are definite YES. Don't even think about giving me your nonsense. Give me a CD or a manga series and we'll chat for hours.
Name: Yelena Lynne (better known 'round these parts as Lena)HH Forum Name: the silent scene Staff Position: Co-Webmistress & Forum Administrator Location: Las Vegas, Nevada. Don't be jealous. Seriously. Age: 17 Birthday: January 19, 1991 Favorite FOB song: Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part To Save The Scene and Stop Going To Shows) Why LENA loves FOB: The lyrics aren't always cheerful, but the music is upbeat and for this band that works really well. Not EVERY band, but these guys are awesome at it. Also because their music can fit the many moods I can be in. Whether I'm bummed out or pissed off or rocking out around my room and singing into my hairbrush, there's something that fits, and I love that. Biography: Short? What? You don't want an indepth novel about my lifestory? Okay fine. I've got a lot of legal addictions, such as coffee, music, manga, and Squeenix video games. Pandas and teddy bears rule. The people I love come before me, and I'm okay with it. I'm shy and friendly, but I've got a mean sarcasm streak. When I "grow up" I want to be a suspense/horror novelist. If you guessed that this means I like to read then go get yourself a cookie. Or a juicebox. Whatever you like more. I think this will do...
Name: AlderHH Forum Name: Alder Staff Position: Forum Administrator Location: West Cork, Ireland Age: 18 Birthday: January 4, 1990 Favourite FOB song: The (After) Life of the Party Why ALDER loves FOB: Because their music is catchy, and their lyrics are meaningful. I know it sounds a bit clichi but that's why i like em. Biography: I'm Alder, I'm from the wonderful county of Cork, in Ireland. I love music, and my favourite bands besides FOB include Say Anything, New Found Glory, Jack's Mannequin and many many others. I also have an interest in art, both tradition art and graphic design. I'm a tv addict, and have to keep track of LOST and Smallville or else the universe will implode. I'm a major computer nerd, and hope to study computing in college.
Name: LauraHH Forum Name: Ladydub Staff Position: Forum Moderator & HH Newsletter Editor Location: Dublin, Ireland Age: 23 Birthday: August 9, 1985 Favorite FOB song: I don't know,I like different songs for different reasons ,I guess my most played right now are "its hard to say I do when i don't and I slept with someone in Fall out boyand all I got was this stupid song written about me" Why LAURA loves FOB: Ok I love Fall out boy because I feel like they woke me up music wise. I was in a music rut for so long ,then one day I heard a melody and saw some antlers and decided to investigate!! They were my gateway to other music I never considered before! I love the the slight kitsch factor but also the affinity I feel with the lyrics, like sometimes I'm like "How the hell did you know that?", I know all the teenies say that but I honestly mean that, i.e terrible past life (boring!). I also love the dudes in the band, they are all funny geeky and intelligent, and I love their interaction with each other. Biography: I'm from a small fishing village called Skerries in Dublin,Ireland. Im the oldest of 5 kids ,my paretns are still together, though i don't trust that! Ive been through some really crappy tims in the past but they all behind me now,So life is pretty awesome!! I have awesome friends,I love music and movies and history are a passion of mine. I have an enquiring mind so lke nothing better then research for fun! Ask me anything!!
Name: KellyHH Forum Name: Kelly Staff Position: Forum Moderator & Powerpoint Tour Guide Location: Michigan, US Age: 13 Brithday: July 2, 1994 Favorite FOB song: "Bang The Doldrums" Why KELLY loves FOB: I LOVE their lyrics, their just so descriptive, emotional and addictive that it makes the songs run through your head over and over again! The music, is almost undescribable but, I'll try anyways, just very catchy and addictive! Biography: Okay, my name's Kelly, I like long walks on the beach and roses....wait, what? Thats not the right bio? Oh well, okay, so basically, I'm a very hyper young teen. And I often get made fun of for my choice of music, but hey, like I give a fuck about their opinion right? I like going to the mall, shopping, writing, reading, and more writing. Oh and, I love being on the computer, I'm on the computer daily! So, yeah, thats me!
Name: Alicia (or "Punky")HH Forum Name: Mrs.Maynard Staff Position: Forum Moderator Location: North Carolina Age: 20 Birthday: October 20, 1987 Favorite FOB song: A little less 16 candles a little more "touch me" Why ALICIA loves FOB: Because they make awesome music, yep I'm too sleepy to think of anything else. Biography: I'm Alicia...I'm sure you knew that, I'm in love with a guy named Randy, he's amazing, I'm a total dork, I love french toast...I love cartoon network...I like to hang out at the mall and make fun of people, I've never been out of my state, I want a purple lamborqini(I know I spelled that wrong). I need sleep so I'm done now mmkay.
Name: DoroteaHH Forum Name: Dorotea Staff Position: Forum Moderator Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Age: 19 Birthday: May 29, 1988 Favorite FOB song: Oooh, this is hard. Probably a tie between You're Crashing, But You're No Wave and Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying. Why DOROTEA loves FOB: They make music that had really touched me and helped me deal with some things from my past. I also like FOB because they're deceiving - they look and sound all innocent and popish on the surface, but there's something darker and more meaningful lying underneath the surface if you're willing to actually decypher lyrics. That and the fact that they're just cool guys Biography: I am currently a Political Science major in college and an active member of Amnesty International. I believe in having an open mind and being politically and socially conscious for the sake of the world and ourselves. It is my mission to fight for the rights of prisoners of conscience and non-violent minority separatist groups. I am Celtic and Native American, and I take pride in belonging to two ethnic underdogs. Aside from college, I work as an English Tutor and I am a volunteer at the Tennesee Aquarium. My hobbies are art, photography, composing/listening to/writing music, watching the news, surfing the net, reading books/magazines, wreaking havoc on the world with my friends, scaring people, writing poetry/fan fics/essays, eating, sleeping, blinking, breathing, and functioning. I am a Socialist, a Roman Catholic, a Headbanger, a snarky Straight-Edge zealot, an Independent voter, and I have a fascination with hardcore, cabaret shows, and the Cuban Revolution/Soviet Union. Want to know anything else? PM me
Name: TrishHH Forum Name: shimmer_sparkle Staff Position: Forum Moderator Location: Kansas Age: 16 Birthday: April 9, 1991 Favorite FOB song: Pretty much impossible to pick, but ... I'd have to say "The Music or the Misery" and "Hum Hallelujah" Why TRISH loves FOB: Hmmm. I love them because they opened my eyes to actual music. Before I discovered them (with Sugar, We're Goin' Down), I just listened to whatever my friends or my brother were listening to and pretended that I liked it. The music itself, needless to say, is amazing. The lyrics really make you think. And there's a million other reasons that I can't put into words. Biography: I live in this tiny town in Kansas. I'm still stuck in high school but I can't wait to get out of here and go to college somewhere far far away. I'm a nerd and I'm really shy until you get to know me ... I love math and science, but I absolutely hate English (I still love reading, though.) I LOVE my friends and my family to death, I don't know what I'd do without them.
Name: StephHH Forum Name: n/a Staff Position: HH Newsletter Editor Location: New York Age: 14 Birthday: June 28th, 1993 Favorite FOB song: Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying Why STEPH loves FOB: They make good music, of course! And they put on an entertaining live show. Biography: I'm currently a freshman in high school who loves to sing, act, dance and have fun. I hate being called a teenie, though I'm sure I qualify. But, trust me, I've been a fan longer than you'd think. I'm a writer, and do a lot of it in my spare time. I love all the Fueled By Ramen and Decaydance bands. Besides FBR bands, I like Blink-182, The Rocket Summer, Envy On The Coast, Armor For Sleep plus others. I hope to go to college in the future and major in something music related. GO BACK. |
