Fan Art Page & More…

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

Kelly sent me a drawing she did as a contribution for a fan art page. Just from this donation alone, I’ve opted to put the fan art page back up. I’ve saved a TON of artwork submitted to HH from a couple years back and decided it’s time to showcase HH’s talented visitors by displaying their art in the gallery under the Graphics category’s sub-category called, Fan Art (again, you must be logged in or registered to view this). So be sure to check out the fan art page again (link is also in the media section) or if you’d like to donate your own artwork, please email me at hhopeful[at]infinitealchemy.com (replace [at] with @) your name and attach your artwork to the email.

I’d also like to point out that I’m in grad school, so it’ll take a little while for me to put it up, but they WILL go up. The only time it won’t go up is if it’s not your own work. :)

edit:// I’ve also taken the liberty of posting ALL available tour information for every act associated with Fall Out Boy and updated the official links list.

Oh.. and have hit the 750,000+ unique visitor mark! 250,000 more unique visitors and we’ll be at ONE MILLION! Thanks so much for your continued support. We do this for you fans who are sticking with the band, the band’s side projects, and etc. with us. Believers never die! Long live the car crash hearts!

Podcast: Interview with Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) – December 2008

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

For the second time in less than two months and a day before the release of Fall Out Boy’s latest album Folie A Deux, Patrick Stump gave WBRU a call, this time talking to GQ about the new album and what he’s been up to since he last talked to Emmett back in October. GQ’s twenty-minute interview with Pat includes an explanation of the enigmatic Folie A Deux album artwork, his take on local events like the Guinness World Record interview and secret show at Harper’s Ferry, how he got to work with the likes of Elvis Costello and Debbie Harry, and much more.

[..]In Washington DC, the epicenter for the first Earth Day in 1970, Earth Day events on the National Mall will once again act as a rallying point for the nation. Activities kick off with service events the weekend of April 17-18 and conclude with The Climate Rally on April 25. Patrick Stump Weighs Funkiness of Impending Solo Album !

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

With the future of Fall Out Boy uncertain, Patrick Stump headed to this year’s SXSW Festival in support of his new musical endeavors, namely his upcoming solo album. Though reluctant to call it a “solo project,” Stump’s debut disc, due out this summer, is a solo project in every possible way: Stump is writing all the songs and performing all the instruments single-handedly. Talking to MTV, Stump admitted that the album’s direction had changed since the revelation that Fall Out Boy might be on the verge of breaking up.

“A lot of people pointed to the ‘funkiness,’ and that’s definitely something that is a part of my writing — but there’s been a lot of really trying things that have happened in my personal life,” Stump told MTV. “And I’ve ended up having a lot of writing to do, that took on a more … cathartic thing. I could’ve told you a month ago that it was going to be more of a funk record, but now I don’t really know.”
