Kelly sent me a drawing she did as a contribution for a fan art page. Just from this donation alone, I’ve opted to put the fan art page back up. I’ve saved a TON of artwork submitted to HH from a couple years back and decided it’s time to showcase HH’s talented visitors by displaying their art in the gallery under the Graphics category’s sub-category called, Fan Art (again, you must be logged in or registered to view this). So be sure to check out the fan art page again (link is also in the media section) or if you’d like to donate your own artwork, please email me at hhopeful[at]infinitealchemy.com (replace [at] with @) your name and attach your artwork to the email.

I’d also like to point out that I’m in grad school, so it’ll take a little while for me to put it up, but they WILL go up. The only time it won’t go up is if it’s not your own work.

I know I need to cap the last FOB video for the gallery and start making room for Patrick’s solo project, any projects Pete is working on and of course The Damned Things, but if I’m missing something that I should have here on HH, please leave a comment on this post!

The multimedia page is FINALLY complete! I’ve posted the PSD page. Now, for those of you who don’t know what PSDs are, they are pre-cut photos of the boys from Fall Out Boy that can be used for you visitors who are graphic designers that use Adobe Photoshop for your graphic work. It saves you all the trouble of cutting out the photos yourselves. I will be cutting out more and posting them when I get a chance to, but please feel free to download these PSDs for your own amusement.

Also, I’m thinking of changing the layout this coming weekend. I’m actually not happy with the way this layout looks. So, you may expect a change in HH’s look.

I was getting tired of the last layout, so I decided to change it. You all know the drill. Any errors, let me know. Hope you all like it! Be sure to check out the gallery for updates made earlier.

I’ve made some pretty significant changes to the boards. It’s been wiped clean (all posts deleted as well as members who’ve posted NOTHING) and is a lot easier to navigate around. New members needed! I finally put up the video downloads page. It’s not complete as I have more to put on that page but since I’m heading back on the road, I didn’t have time to get it all posted. I have a majority up there, but I don’t have ALL of what I’ve uploaded posted on the page. When I get home, I’ll get that done. Also, more videos will be added once we’ve acquired more. Please enjoy.

…my beloved desktop computer just crashed majorly over the weekend in the midst of doing some massive site updating overhaul. Truthfully, I’m not sure if my computer can be repaired (this has happened before and by sheer luck, I did something and it worked… now, nothing). Luckily, I’ve backed up all my files before said “Crash,” however, the site updates I had lined up were destroyed in the crash (stupid me… didn’t save them). I am now desktop computer-…less. I am actually posting this damn update on my netbook (trust me… not a good device for doing REAL site updates).

I wanted to post this as I don’t want you all to think I’ve forgotten about the site as I haven’t been around much for HH and the boards. Before 2009 ended, life has certainly taken a turn for the worse and it’s been tough trying to recover emotionally and financially. I’ve gotten a few interviews here and there for jobs and recruiting offices. No call backs yet. I’ve requested a couple forbearances on my student loans and will be filing a deferment soon once I get all my stuff straight. Slowly, but surely, my family and I are getting back on track. If not one day at a time, then one baby step at a time. As I’ve mentioned before, in times of need, my family comes first.

As for my computer dilemma, my mom was given a laptop by her roommate and will be passing on her current one to me which will be sufficient enough to update HH, IA, and whatnot. Until we can come up with the money to buy me a new desktop, this hand-me-down laptop will have to do.

Fingers crossed everything will turn out okay!
